bread-butter-hurbsUpon arrival, you will be presented with a glass of exceptional prosecco, local cheeses made in this region accompanied by olive oil dips and balsamic vinegars that have been produced across the whole of the Italian peninsula. The breads are locally sourced from one of the few wood fired bakeries and are made to order each morning. Our guests can enjoy dipping the bread in fragrant olive oil or spreading grilled cheese on top of a toasted Bruschetta. Be inspired and make your meal with fresh local organic ingredients while drinking amazing wines.

All of our produce is purchased fresh each morning from local markets and farmers who dedicate themselves to making some of the most outstanding food that I bring to your table.  As a family business, we pride ourselves in promoting local organic growers and our ingredients are bought in order to bring to you the vibrant flavours of this beautiful region.

Positano Home Cooking Wine Tastings

cellar-winesPositano Home Cooking would like you to enjoy a unique experience to savour some of our rare small parcel wines grown from exceptional vines across all the Italian regions in a Positano villa of the 12th century, with a stunning sea view and beautiful Mediterranean garden, where we grow our own herbs and fruits.

The wines will be paired according to the dishes of the day and, of our 3000 labels, you will enjoy the very best that our cellar has to offer. It has taken us well over 30 years to put together these unique wines, and we wish you to enjoy every sip as we are certain that you will be truly delighted by our selections.

Our selection of wines ranges from different varieties of Prosecco to whites, then on to reds and dessert wines to finish – all with food pairings that we will prepare together with the chef to maximise the flavour and depth of the experience.

Meals – At a large rustic table overlooking the beautiful Amalfi coastline in the heart of Positano, with a large glass of wine or two!

Wine tasting – Relax with our experts and watch our chef create the final dish of the day while testing our sommelier recommended wines.

The Experience

The cooking experience is all about exploring classic Italian dishes and completing them with the perfect wine pairings in a truly beautiful location.  There will be a focus on meat and seafood dishes while exploring traditional cooking techniques and demonstrating how to choose the right ingredients and wines.
